Am I allowed to bring my children?

Accepted Answer

We love all of our friend's and family's children! However, due to space restrictions we cannot accommodate guests under age 21 on our wedding day, with the exception of children in the wedding party. We encourage you to use this evening to have a fun date night!

Is there a dress code?

Accepted Answer

We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us! Our dress code is cocktail attire. No jeans, please!

Can I bring plus-one?

Accepted Answer

Due to the limited capacity of our venue, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless specifically indicated on your envelope. For example, if you have a plus one, your address will be listed as "Mr./Miss XYZ and Guest."

Question 4

What time should I arrive for the ceremony

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 PM CST. We ask that you arrive 15-20 minutes before!

Question 5

Can I take pictures during the ceremony / reception?

Accepted Answer

In order to ensure we are all fully present, we will be having an "unplugged" ceremony. We request that you turn off / silence all phones during the ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer to capture this special moment and we would be happy to send you any pictures upon request! During cocktail hour and the reception, please feel free to take as many pictures as you would like!

What is the bar situation?

Accepted Answer

We will provide a full open bar with spirits, beer, cocktails, and a selection of red & white wines. We will also have multiple non-alcoholic options available.

Where do I park?

Accepted Answer

Though Riverwood Mansion offers parking on-site (the far side of the mansion, when you pull in), we encourage guests to carpool and Uber to and from the celebration.

PLEASE NOTE:  Cars left overnight will be towed!

Question 8

Will there be a shuttle?

Accepted Answer

No, there will not be a hotel shuttle.  The hotels are a short distance away, and venue and offers parking on-site for guests who would like to drive.  We do however encourage carpooling and Ubers.
